Privacy Policy
Effective date: April 27, 2026. Last updated: April 27, 2026.
This Privacy Policy describes how Homegrown Growth Co. ("HGC," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and discloses information when you visit homegrowngrowth.co (the "Site"), book a call, engage us for services, or otherwise interact with us. By using the Site or our services, you agree to the practices described below.
1. Who we are
Homegrown Growth Co. is a sole-proprietor consulting practice based in Massachusetts, USA, providing fractional Revenue Operations services. The owner and contact for privacy questions is Ian Chamberland.
Contact: ian@homegrowngrowth.co
2. Information we collect
We collect only the information needed to deliver our services, communicate with you, and operate the Site.
Information you provide directly when you book a call, contact us, or engage us for services, including: your name, business name, email address, phone number (if you provide one), the content of messages you send us, and information you share during a consulting engagement.
Information collected automatically when you visit the Site, including: IP address, browser type and version, device type, referring URL, pages viewed, time on page, and similar usage data. This is collected via Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity (described below).
Booking information collected when you schedule a call through our Calendly integration, including the data you submit on the Calendly form (name, email, optional intake questions). Calendly's own privacy policy applies to that interaction.
3. How we use your information
We use the information we collect to:
- Respond to inquiries and schedule consultations.
- Deliver and improve consulting services we are engaged to perform.
- Send transactional communications (booking confirmations, scheduling updates, project status, invoices).
- Send service-related SMS messages to numbers you have provided and consented to (see Section 7).
- Operate, secure, and improve the Site.
- Comply with applicable law and enforce our Terms.
4. Cookies and analytics
The Site uses first-party and third-party cookies and similar technologies to understand how visitors use the Site and to improve it. We currently use:
- Google Analytics 4 — aggregate traffic and usage analytics.
- Microsoft Clarity — heatmaps and session replays in aggregate to improve usability. Clarity may capture how you scroll, click, and navigate; it does not capture sensitive form input.
You can disable cookies in your browser, use a "Do Not Track" or similar signal, or use opt-out tools provided by Google and Microsoft. Disabling cookies may affect Site functionality.
5. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as necessary to operate our business, and only with the categories of recipients described below:
- Service providers who help us run the Site or deliver services — for example, Netlify (hosting), Google (analytics, email), Microsoft (analytics), Calendly (scheduling), and Twilio (SMS messaging). These providers process information on our behalf under their own terms and security obligations.
- Legal and safety recipients when required by law, subpoena, court order, or to protect rights, property, or safety.
- Business transfers — if HGC is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction; we will notify you of any change in ownership or use of your information.
SMS data is treated separately and more strictly: see Section 7 below.
6. Data retention and security
We retain personal information only as long as needed to provide services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. We use commercially reasonable administrative and technical safeguards (including TLS in transit and reputable cloud providers) to protect information. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. SMS / text messaging terms
Homegrown Growth Co. may send SMS text messages to phone numbers that you have provided to us and for which you have given express consent (for example, a phone number entered on a booking form, intake form, or contract where SMS opt-in is clearly indicated). Message types may include: appointment confirmations and reminders, scheduling updates, project status, follow-ups related to services you have requested, and other transactional and conversational messages tied to our work together.
Consent. You opt in to receive SMS messages from HGC by providing your mobile number on a form, document, or other channel where SMS opt-in is requested, or by replying to a message we send. Consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of purchase.
Frequency. Message frequency varies based on your engagement with us.
Cost. Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan.
Opt-out. You may opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message we send. After you reply STOP, we will send one confirmation message and then stop sending non-essential SMS to that number.
Help. Reply HELP to any message for assistance, or contact us directly at ian@homegrowngrowth.co.
Carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
No third-party sharing of mobile information. No mobile information collected as part of the SMS opt-in or consent process will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing for SMS is limited to subcontracted service providers strictly necessary to deliver the messages — for example, our SMS platform Twilio — and those providers are contractually restricted to processing the data only to deliver the service. This category of information is excluded from any other sharing described elsewhere in this Privacy Policy.
8. Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port the personal information we hold about you, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. To exercise any of these rights, email ian@homegrowngrowth.co. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe and as required by applicable law.
If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), including the right to know what categories of personal information we collect and the right to opt out of any "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under the CCPA.
9. Children's privacy
The Site and our services are not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
10. International users
HGC operates in the United States. If you access the Site from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, which may have different data protection laws than your country of residence.
11. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Material changes will be communicated through the Site or by direct notice where appropriate. Your continued use of the Site or our services after a change becomes effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
